built locally in Brisbane in 1971 and trawling the Queensland coast until her retirement and permanent mooring in 2020.

Fitted with bench seating along the port and starboard sides and a large communal centre table with benches. Under roof dining with plastic roll down blinds for inclement weather conditions.

On the water, under cover open air dining with individual table seating and the ability to cater for larger groups/parties


locally built in 1967 by Clem Masters on Cabbage Tree Creek, this trawler was built to cross The Bar fast and get out amongst the prawn!

Now converted with under cover open air dining. Currently with individual table seating for up to 15 diners (under current covid seating limitations). When she’s slipped in 2021 we’ll be fitting the rear deck with new local hardwood tables and additional bench seating.

About Us

The Prawnster is a local family owned business, inspired by other regional ‘must-do’ seafood experiences (like eating oysters off the boat at Constitution Dock in Hobart, buying prawns off the trawler at The Spit).

The Prawnster brings local wild catch seafood right into the Brisbane CBD and highlights the trawling industry that delivers for our enjoyment the best seafood in the world!
